2010 is our 18th year of making t-shirt quilts and every year gets better! Your quilt is special to us, and we will work with you to make sure it's just right. You can follow along on the QUILTS IN PROGRESS page and see how your quilt is coming along.
We use the fronts (and sometimes backs) of those special t-shirts,
sweatshirts, and jerseys that you've collected from sports, college, high
school, NASCAR, rock concerts or even flannel shirts!
A reinforcement backing is fused to each square and the t-shirt quilt is then
assembled using light-weight batting. The sashing (fabric that separates the t-shirts on the top of the t-shirt
quilt) is chosen to complement your tshirts. You may choose the color or leave
it up to me. I use only high quality, pre-washed fabrics. The t-shirt quilts are then hand-tied to preserve the original look of the shirts. MACHINE QUILTING AVAILABLE - $18 per square (no double batting on machine quilted quilts). Please make a note on your order form if you prefer this method.
Small holes or tears can be repaired. Stains or irregularities are left alone - imperfections add character
and make it even more unique.
